This is Artyarns Night Shift Shawl kit in the red colourway.
The pattern uses stripes and slipped stitches worked in solid and speckled colorways to evoke the passing of day into night.
The stitches used are explained in the pattern: kfb (knit front and back of same stitch); sl (slip stitch purlwise); sl2k (slip 2 stitches knitwise); psso2 (pass 2 slipped stitches over last stitch).
Each kit contains: • 2 skeins of Merino Cloud, one solid and one speckled (872yd/800m/200g total) and 1 downloadable pattern for the Night Shift Shawl by designer Christopher Salas. The shawl has an 83″ wingspan and measures 23″ from top to the deepest point
Just add your own size US# 5 x 32″ circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
My photos of the shawl show it in the black colourway.
