Rowan A Story in Yarn by Dee Hardwicke

A beautiful intarsia quilt designed by Dee Hardwicke. The intarsia hexagons include charts of flowers, leaves and berries across the four seasons. Each charted design is knitted twice, then part hexagons are knitted to complete edges of the quilt. Number of balls per design naturally vary but full information is provided in the book, along with details on how to make yarn butterflies, and suggestions to design your own charts with blank hexagons provided to help you.
Rowan Felted Tweed is used throughout.
