The Nero ruches scarf was designed by Jared Flood for Brooklyn Tweed.

It has sculptured folds that are created by lifting selected stitches from several rows below and knitting them with live stitches from the current row - there are full instructions on how to do this.

There are three lengths of scarf : 62", 74" or 86" and the width is 6.5".  You will need 400 / 480 / 460 yards of worsted weight yarn

The pattern has 2 double sided pages and a separate sheet with colour photos on how to do the sculptured stitches.
